Edie the Penguin - Free Pattern and CAL

Introducing Edie the Penguin.

Pattern Details:

Edie measures approximately 3.5 inches / 6 cm using a DK weight yarn but she can be made from any weight yarn and appropriate hook for different sizes. This pattern is available in US and UK Terminology.

This is an Intermediate skilled pattern as stitches required include:
• Slip Stitch
• Chain Stitch
• Double Crochet (UK) Single Crochet (US)
• Increasing
• Decreasing

Materials needed:
• 20g/45m of DK weight yarn in Main Colour - I used Grey (Yarn A)
• 20g/45m of DK weight yarn in Contrast Colour 1 - I used Black ((Yarn B)
• 5g/12m of DK weight yarn in Contrast Colour 2 - I used White (Yarn C)
• 3.5mm (E) crochet hook
• Small amount of black and white yarn (for crochet eyes option) or
• 2 x 20mm safety eyes
• Toy filling
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers
• Small length of Ribbon
• Optional wire pet grooming brush for brushing
