Nessie is Scotland’s famous monster of Loch Ness. Despite her fame, she’s extremely shy and spends most of her time underwater, playing chess with the fish. She’s also an avid butterfly watcher and the inventor of several periscopes, creat-ed so that she can watch the butterflies in peace.
Nessie is a good cuddle size, she measures approximately 10 inches / 25cm high and 14 inches / 32cm across using a Sport weight yarn. However, she can be made from any weight yarn and appropriate hook for different sizes. This is not a pattern for beginners, but it is an easy pattern to follow with plenty of photos, and if you run in to any problems you will always be welcome to contact me for any extra help. This pattern is available in US and UK Terminology and you will receive a download link to both files.

DeleteSo I'm relatively new to crochet - I've only done like, four stuffed critters so far - and I've decided to work on Nessie. I'm having some trouble, though, figuring out how to start the second antenna! Do you have any tips?
