Wilbur the Penguin

This is Wilbur, a sweet little Penguin looking for adventure! Wilbur measures about 6 inches sitting in a DK yarn, but he can be made from any weight yarn and appropriate hook for different sizes. It is an easy pattern to follow and you will always be welcome to contact me for any extra help.
This pattern is available in both US and UK Terminology.

This is an Advanced Beginner skilled pattern as stitches required include:

• Slip Stitch
• Chain Stitch
• Double Crochet (UK) Single Crochet (US)
• Half Treble Crochet (UK) Half Double Crochet (US)
• Treble Crochet (UK) Double Crochet (US)
• Double Treble Crochet (UK) Treble Crochet (US)
• Increasing
• Decreasing

Materials needed:

• 50g balls of DK weight yarn Main Colour (I used Black)
• 50g ball DK weight yarn Contrast Colour 1 (I used White)
• 50g ball DK weight yarn Contrast Colour 2 (I used Orange)
• 3.5mm (E) crochet hook
• 3.25mm (D) crochet hook (for crochet eyes option)
• Small amount of black and coloured yarn (for crochet eyes option) or
• 2 x 20mm Safety eyes
• Toy filling
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
